Benefits of Walnuts

Once opened, it is recommended to keep nuts in an airtight container and store them in the refrigerator or the freezer. In general, nuts will stay fresh for up to six months in the refrigerator and up to one year stored in the freezer. Even unopened, it is best to keep nuts in an airtight bag and in a cool dry place.
